D-LACTIDE/D-LA

D-lactide is one of the different configurations of lactide, formed by the dehydration and condensation of two molecules of D-lactic acid. Its physical properties are basically the same as L-lactide.

Main Use: Synthesis of medical-grade poly(D-lactic acid) PDLA (dextral polylactide) or other copolymers;

Physicochemical Properties: Easily hydrolyzed and polymerized; should be stored at low temperatures;
